This was a birthday card for a very special lady. Used a nautical theme here. I had this idea of using sequins in my folly flowers and I really liked the result. Also did some foil work using a laminator and laserjet ink for the gold lettering. Two different sizes of circular die cuts made the circular greeting. I’ve realised that finally I need to admit I don’t like fringing tools. For the fringed flowers, I prefer to simply snip with small, very sharp scissors to create these fringes. Finging tools abound (and I own two and they were quite dear when I bought them), but they just don’t seem to offer enough flexibility in length and widths. This card may be on the OTT side, but that’s just how I like it!
