Imperial Eggs

I have long admired the craftsmanship that went into a Fabergé Egg. They are objets d’art loaded with contradiction. They epitomise a by-gone age that may never be repeated (and the world is all the better for it, if I may say so). At the same time, they are sublimely beautiful. They are the source of inspiration for this commissioned work.These are only made of paper and not real gem stones. But all the same, they are little gems.
