Vintage Christmas Baubles

These are Christmas baubles with a difference as they start from simple ‘blown’ eggs decorated with quilling work. I’ve made these ones 11 years ago and they still shine (vintage in today’s attention span). The designs have evolved over the years and this year I made some new ones that have yet to grace this blog.  I could just spend everyday making these little edible-looking goodies all-year round. I wish I had that luxury of time and I’ll be a totally happy bunny! The possiblities with paper are just infinite. In the case of these examples, the paper is simply your average A4 coloured sheets. The gold foil being used is actually the gold foil paper that is used to wrap loose tobacco for rolled-up ciggies (which I collected at that time). Smoking isn’t healthy but the foil inside the packing was put to good use!
