This is my homage to early evening birdsong heard from my back garden. I thought about how best to suggest this beautiful chorus that lasted for hours. I came up with this. There is definitely something to be said about having all your papers just laid out and using what is in front of you. Totally unplanned. Just instinctive, intuitive. Happy with the results. But would like to develop further.

I am a self-taught designer-maker based in the U.K. I am interested in the inherent beauty of textiles and paper. I describe myself as a peripatetic maker of things, given my number of skills in crafts. Having used paper and textiles longest, these tend to feature on my works quite heavily.
