Spring Has Sprung!

It’s finally spring, although the weather still needs to catch up, as it is wet still. But hey, in England we are thankful for any passable weather. But I can feel the temperatures increasing a little bit now and am able to shed those thick woollen coats. This has inspired some card making. Here, I am emulating the season’s ‘budding phase’. The result reminds me of those needlework motifs that you see in crewel embroidery. I am pleased with this result. The person who received this card was wowed as well, so it was all round a very successful project.

This other one is a variation on the above work, using a similar colour palette. I think that sap green captures spring well and truly! I must get more of that shade of green…
