It’s finally spring, although the weather still needs to catch up, as it is wet still. But hey, in England we are thankful for any passable weather. But I can feel the temperatures increasing a little bit now and am able to shed those thick woollen coats. This has inspired some card making. Here, I am emulating the season’s ‘budding phase’. The result reminds me of those needlework motifs that you see in crewel embroidery. I am pleased with this result. The person who received this card was wowed as well, so it was all round a very successful project.
This other one is a variation on the above work, using a similar colour palette. I think that sap green captures spring well and truly! I must get more of that shade of green…
