Finished the second toile with the alterations done, as planned. My gorgeous bride came for the fitting today and everything worked! Well, almost. It’s very hard when you are an obsessive-compulsive (like me) but I can’t help it. Will need a centre back dart definitely (exactly 2.6 cm wide). Worked out the pattern of the diagonal detail (contrast fabric). Those ant lines are maybe not so obvious on the photo. The bride is so excited about the colours, she can’t stop caressing the chiffons! The designer is excited to get cracking! Will have to watch this space as this project develops and blossoms into completion early autumn this year.
