“Leaf Island”
I am using my cyanotype prints to create an island scene. Island life is a recurring theme in my works.
“Leaf Patterns”
I am experimenting with fully natural colours. The manipulated paper has soaked up chlorophyll and flower pigments from plants picked one sunny day. The paper was left to dry naturally. It was cut and then folded or coiled. There is trial and error in getting all the elements to “sing”. Very much aiming for a quiet song, here. This whole process, I think, has left imprints of the weightiness of time.
