It measures 29 x 29 cm unframed. Misshapen bird feathers were the starting point for this piece. My dad used to breed white doves and collecting bird fearthers is one of my childhood memories. The patterns are a combination of design and happenstance – as I release the folds of paper, I wait for it to ‘settle’ into a pattern, which I then freeze (by gluing).
