This collection was based on natural history and its largely inspired by a documentary I’ve seen about Charles Darwin and his natural selection theory. I just thought one day that I could knit and crochet these dresses that I’ve roughly sketched out. I thought that by combining the crochet and knitting stitches together in a certain way, an organic, creature-like dress would emerge. I chose this particular colourway as it reminded me of tropical waters teeming with all sorts of life forms.
